Mostly Native Plant Sale Vendor Application

 

Cibolo Nature Center's Mostly Native Plant Sale on April 7th

BOERNE, Texas-The Cibolo Nature Center is seeking vendors to participate in its 22nd Annual Mostly Native Plant Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., April 7 at the Kendall County Fairgrounds in Boerne.

This fundraiser for the non-profit Cibolo Nature Center is a venue for growers who specialize in plants native to the region and plants that have proven to be well-adapted to local climate, soil and growing conditions. It is also open to businesses that provide outdoor products or services that support sustainable landscaping and gardening in the Texas Hill Country. The Mostly Native Plant Sale draws about 2,000 visitors each year.

In addition to nurseries, garden centers and growers, the types of vendors sought include those who offer:

  • Locally or regionally produced food items such as cooking oil, jams and jellies, honey, nuts and seeds.
  • Nature-inspired art and jewelry.
  • Garden art, furniture and pottery.
  • Organic soils, plant food and pest control products.
  • Natural soaps, candles and fiber products.
  • Books and educational materials related to conservation and sustainable gardening and landscaping.
  • Rainwater catchment systems and water-saving irrigation systems and devices.
  • Services such as landscaping and landscape design.
  • Go Texan Members welcome!

In addition to sales opportunities, participation in the Mostly Native Plant Sale will offer vendors the chance to achieve higher visibility and to build relationships with new customers. Participants also will be listed on the Cibolo Nature Center's website.

Booth sizes and prices range from $125 for a 10-by-10-foot space to $250 for a 20-by-20-foot space, with various combinations available. In addition to vendor booths, the event includes educational presentations and demonstrations. Vendors also will have the option of participating in a pre-sale open to members of the Cibolo Nature Center from 5 to 7 p.m. April 6.
