Research

Volunteers will help identify and count bird species in the riparian, savannah and human structure habitats of Cibolo Nature Center and submit findings to eBird (on online database administered by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology). There will be several miles of walking on generally flat ground.

All levels of birding experience are welcome! This will be a good opportunity to practice and expand birding skills.

This survey is jointly sponsored by Bexar Audubon Society and Cibolo Center for Conservation and is approved for Alamo and Hill Country Master Naturalist volunteer hours.
