Learn about both the cultivated and wild plant medicines that grow in our region with Maura Bobbitt, Farms Program Coordinator at Herff Farm. We’ll explore how plants have adapted to survive in their environment, and how we can benefit from these adaptations ourselves. We will make an immunity-boosting vinegar-based preparation called Fire Cider and a beeswax-based salve using plants from the Herff Farm Garden. This class is family and couple friendly come brew some new memories together!
This class will be held at the Teaching Garden at Herff Farm. This program is generously sponsored by Valero.
