Introduction to Beekeeping with Mike Mendez

Join Mike Mendez, Master Beekeeper, and beekeeper for Jester King Brewery and Community First Village, for an in-depth Introduction to Beekeeping class. Mike will cover the basics of issues to consider if you want to start beekeeping, the equipment you’ll need, costs, and everything you need to know about honeybees! Join us in the upstairs of the historic Herff Homestead for a 2-hour class you won’t want to miss! Masks and social distancing will be required. Online registration closes at 4pm on Friday, 3/5. Walk-ins welcome at the door as long as space available; payment can be made at the door.

*Due to the nature of the historic Herff Homestead, participants must be able to climb stairs. If you have mobility concerns and wish to attend the workshop, please email laurie@cibolo.org.
