Discuss the history of bread-making and learn the secrets behind sourdough’s unique tangy flavor, longer shelf life, and exceptional nutritional profile. Make your own loaf from a Mother Yeast that has been used for over 100 years!
Attendees will take home a mixing bowl, Dutch whisk, wooden spoon, sour dough loaf in process, and established sourdough starter.
This class will be held in the Hunke Hall at Herff Farm during the Farmers Market, so be sure to come early to see the vendors!
