Learn, Explore and Play at the Cibolo!
- Monday: Community Scientist Day – Become a young scientist! Explore nature while learning what it means to protect and develop habitat for various species in the four ecosystems that make up the Cibolo. Learn how to use the technology around you and identify plants and animals right in your backyard or neighborhood. You may even meet a new slithery friend while learning to collect data.
- Tuesday:Wonders of Wildlife – Take a deeper look into the life and environment of plants and animals! Gain knowledge about various animals that call the Cibolo home to identify tracks and scat they leave behind. Learn how to find and identify native plants and how people and animals use them daily. Campers will also learn about adaptations through a mystery box scavenger hunt.
- Wednesday: The Sweet Land of Cibolo – Finish off this 3-day Spring Break Camp with a giant game of “Candy Land” Cibolo style! While exploring the Cibolo, campers will have to spin the wheel to find out where their next stop is. At each stop, campers will get instructions for various activities that will teach them about survival skills and how trees get water to the very top clusters of leaves.
