Recognizing those who have given to our land, mission and children

The Thanks for Giving Awards go to our volunteers who selflessly make the Cibolo Center for Conservation a reality.

The Stewardship Awards are for folks who make a significant contribution to the conservation in the region.

This year the Stewardship Awards go to the retiring Kendall County Judge Darrel Lux, Commissioners Richard Elkins and Don Durden, and the Executive Director of the Hill Country Alliance, Katherine Romans. (Our policy is not to recognize incumbents in public office, but to wait till their service is complete.)

All four individuals (and the incumbent commissioners) are responsible for the greatest conservation opportunity in the history of Kendall County, Proposition A.

We cannot thank all the great folks who work with us in our spaces for their regular contributions.
