Where does your food come from?
at the Herff Farm
Experience the wonder and power of organic gardening by following a plant from seed to harvest. Students will have the opportunity to create products using fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers they grew in the Teaching Garden to sell at the Farmers Market at Herff Farm!

Classes are Wednesdays 9:30am – 11:30am
Ages: 5-10
Class size: 12 families
Class dates: 7 weeks starting June 7th – July 26th (No class Wednesday, July 5th)
Pricing: $150 per student. $100 per additional child in the same family
Classes are designed for students ages 5-10. Children 3 years old & up in attendance will be charged as participants.

What ages does Nature Explorers Adventures serve?
Summer Session: Our homeschool program serves children 5-10 at the Herff Farm.
Fall/Spring Session: Our homeschool programs serve children 5-8 at the Herff Farm and 9-12 at the Nature Center.
These classes are highly customizable and are designed to engage children, teenagers, and parents as well!
Can I drop off my child for class?
One parent or guardian is required to stay for the duration of the class, so please plan to come learn as a family.
What does my tuition cover?
Your tuition covers a place in the class for each member of your family, a weekly 2-hour class, and all supplies and tools for all activities.
Can we still participate if my child is in virtual education at school?
As long as you’re able to come during the scheduled class time, all families are welcome! You don’t have to be homeschooling to take part.
