Nature & Art Day Camp Summer Camp 2026

Tune In to The Cibolo

This summer, we invite campers to step away from their screens and tune in to nature at The Cibolo. From “Animals Crossing” to competing in our first Cibolympics, each week reimagines an on-screen classic into an opportunity to unplug outside!

Campers will connect with the wonders of the natural world through exploration, play, and discovery through activities like scavenger hunts, nature-inspired games, birding, and eco-exploration across our five unique ecosystems. Every week is designed to spark curiosity, build friendships, and inspire a lifelong love of the outdoors. This summer, adventure and discovery are just a step outside at The Cibolo!

Joining us for afternoon Art Camp? Campers will get to unleash their creativity while using nature as a tool.

The Cibolo is pleased to offer camp scholarships for children ages 5-12. Learn more and apply here.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is your Waitlist Policy?

If you are on the waitlist, that means that camp is currently full, but that if any spots open you will automatically be registered and charged tuition in the order you added yourself to the waitlist. The tuition charged after you are removed from the waitlist and registered for camp is nonrefundable and will remain attached to your account. If you no longer wish to be automatically registered and charged for any week of camp where you are on the waitlist, please remove yourself from the list so that someone else has the chance to attend. Inquiries regarding waitlist order or status made to the staff will only be responded to as time allows.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

To ensure as many people get the chance to attend camp as possible, we are enacting a 30-day cancellation policy. Any registration canceled 30 days or more before the first day of your registered camp week will be refunded 100%. If you are trying to cancel less than 30 days before the start of your upcoming camp session refunds will only be offered at the discretion of the Camp Director.

What is the Health Profile/Payment Deadline?

The full payment and health profile completions are due the Wednesday before your upcoming camp week. Health profiles and payments that have not been completed by the Wednesday before will result in a phone call, and if you cannot be reached a forfeiture of your camp registration. All forfeited camp registrations will have a $100 fee attached to their account for each canceled session.

Safety Policies

While at the Cibolo’s Nature or Art Camp, safety is our number one priority. We have all staff trained and equipped to follow emergency response plans related to hazardous weather, fire, a missing camper, a suspicious person, an active shooter, or a medical emergency. Our staff receives First Aid/AED/CPR training, sexual abuse awareness training, archery, and low ropes training if applicable, and extensive training on behavior management, appropriate interactions with campers, and being effective leaders. We additionally follow strict bathroom policies, a buddy system, water bottle checks and breaks, and mandatory ID checks at checkout.
