Community Service
Calling all volunteers! Join us for our Spring Renewal Volunteer Workday.
Join us in celebrating National River Cleanup Day, a nationwide effort that brings communities together to protect the rivers, creeks, and waterways that sustain our ecosystems. Each year, thousands of volunteers across the country participate in cleanups to reduce pollution, improve wildlife habitat, and ensure cleaner, healthier waterways for future generations.
Our Spring Renewal Workday is a focused effort to restore and improve key areas surrounding the Nature Center. These projects address erosion, aging infrastructure, habitat restoration, and campus appearance.
Together, these improvements will make the Visitors Center area safer for visitors, reduce environmental damage from erosion, and make nature more accessible to all, including visitors who cannot easily reach more remote areas of the Cibolo Creek corridor.
Bring a friend, your team, or your class and join us!
P.S. We’re also looking for skilled hands! Electricians, carpenters, and landscape architects are invited to help lead projects. Share your expertise and make a lasting impact at The Cibolo.
