Join us for Saturdays at the Farm!

Herff Farm is the perfect Texas Hill Country destination for your Saturday!  Located just a mile from Historic Downtown Boerne and 45 minutes from downtown San Antonio, the Farmers Market at Herff Farm is an open-air farmers market on the historic Herff Farm.  You can buy products directly from local growers, ranchers, and crafters on a beautiful historic German farmstead in the Texas Hill Country.  Explore our fenced gardens, pollinator meadow, and trails, and see the historic limestone Herff House.

We have events and programs throughout the year during the market including wellness classes, volunteering in the gardens, storytime adventures for young children, guided hikes, live music, and more!  See our calendar for a full list of programming.

At the Cibolo, we believe that living close to the land and knowing the source of our food and goods can create a future where sustainable living is not just an idea, but a way of life. We want to create a community of people connected to nature so that we can join together in caring for our environment.

Whether you want to hike the trails, do your shopping in the open air, get gardening inspiration, take classes on growing your own food, or get new recipe ideas, the Farmers Market is here for you.

About Herff Farm

Herff Farm was founded by German freethinkers in the 1850s. It was originally a sheep farm, and later became an apple orchard until widespread droughts in the 1950s. In 2007, the Cibolo Center for Conservation purchased the farm and brought it back to life. Now, it is a carefully managed slice of wild Texas Hill Country, right in the heart of Boerne.
